Using the wind as a metaphor for both uncertainty and hope, plastic packaging is set adrift, menacing travelers from the sky as they drive down the road. Wind turbines and electricity towers form familiar interruptions in the landscape, signs of modernity and convenience, edifices which entrap and ensnare wayward debris.
In light of recent political events in North America I’m thinking a lot about chaos and the way invisible forces act upon our lives.
"If I wished to shake this tree with my hands, I should not be able to do so. But the wind, which we see not, troubleth and bendeth it as it listeth. We are sorest bent and troubled by invisible hands."
- Nietzsche, Thus Spake Zarathustra
